PIZZA CHEF

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Pizza Chef with proven experience working with dough and operating a traditional wood-fired oven. The ideal candidate will be passionate about authentic techniques, able to maintain high standards under pressure, and eager to contribute to a creative, growing team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain high-quality pizza dough daily, ensuring consistency in texture and flavour.

  • Cook pizzas to perfection using a wood-fired oven, managing temperature and timing precisely.

  • Develop and execute menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef, showcasing seasonal ingredients.

  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area, following food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

  • Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and support efficient kitchen operations.

  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pizza Chef, with strong skills in dough preparation.

  • Hands-on experience using a wood-fired oven (essential).

  • Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, from traditional Neapolitan style to contemporary variations.

  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and pride in presentation.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
